What does happiness means to you? Based on vocabulary.com, happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can't help but smile. It's the opposite of sadness. In reality, everybody wants to be happy and nobody wants to be sad. But, many people are struggling with being happy. As the result, the United Nations decided to celebrate the International Day of Happiness every March 20th as a way to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world since 2013. The theme for this year is to Share Happiness, so I want to take part of it by sharing the simplest things that actually can bring you happiness. Here is the 20 simplest things:

1. Watching someone else smile because of you
2. Spending time with someone you care about
3. Giving help to someone who need it
4. Finding something you thought you had lost
5. Getting a smile from someone special
4. Listening to your dearest songs
5. Falling asleep to the sound of the rain
6. Making your parents proud
7. Just being your self
8. Watching the sunset or sunrise
9. Waking up knowing you still have a few hours left to sleep
10. Drinking a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallow in it
11. Star-gazing
12. Doing things you thought you couldn't do
13. Having a wonderful weekend
14. Laughing so hard till it hurts
15. Having a good conversation with someone else
16. Knowing that someone doesn't want to lose you
17. Being loved and loving someone
18. Knowing it's friday

So, what would you do to take part in the International Day of Happiness? Don't forget to share your love and happiness to the world, and become someone's reason to smile! :)
